Last summer I wrote an article about something I heard on talk radio. Exciting, huh? Well I listen to talk, NPR usually and they had this guy on that had just been on the morning television talk show circuit blabbing about his website http://www.rottenneighbor.com/ I immediately put a note in my palm to write about it. I get some really good ideas just listening to the radio like that.
Opinions aside about what the website is, offers as a benefit or does to reputations I blogged about it to inform my local community. Maybe they need to know that someone is tearing them up on the web. That was last August. Everything old is new again - the morning talk shows had that guy on again. Matthew J Blum - MyFavoriteMortgage.net let me know and then I checked my statcounter.
This is why you should blog news, trends and information that is important for your local city residents. People want information.
- Blog your local news
- Blog it using different words that discribe the same thing
- Blog it with mispellings or variations on the words
- Blog it using a thesaurus
- Think like the consumer and what they would be searching for
Then watch the statcounter graph go up. If you need more information about installing statcounter on your blog go here: Statcounter
