Bonita Springs - Paradise Shrimp & Seafood

Bonita Springs SeafoodJust down the building from Keller Williams in Bonita Springs, Florida is the Paradise Shrimp Company.  It's been there for some time, but I've never stopped in until this last week.  I actually walked down on Sunday morning and put my nose to the glass.  To my surprise (there were no cars in the parking lot) the owner was inside and opened the door for little ol' me.

This store is a fantastic find especially for "cheaters" like me.  I now regret not stopping in earlier.  The owners are an absolute delight.  They're oh-so-nice and very knowledgeable about seafood and helpful, too.  I explained some of my picky eating habits and we discussed which seafood I'd enjoy most.  Best of all and in addition to the fantastic selection of fresh seafood they offer prepared meals for one person or more that are oven ready!  Just heat the oven to temperature and cook to the specified time and voila!  Dinner is served.  Now, that's what I'm talkin' about!

The store has additional, gourmet items to round out your dinner menu - Marinades, sauces, spices, deserts like Key Lime Pie and a great selection of wine.  They'll ship seafood to family and friends back home, too!  Paradise Shrimp Co. is a one stop shop for throwing together great gourmet meal.  Let your friends think you're a master.  The folks at Paradise Shrimp Co. will never let anyone know you might have cheated ... just a little.

If you're a full time resident of Bonita Springs put this shoppe on your list of "must go".  If you're vacationing in the Bonita Springs area stop in for a prepared meal and enjoy some of Florida's best seafood from your vacation home.

Paradise Seafood Co. is located 24851 Tamiami Trail (US 41) in Bonita Springs, Florida.  It is located across the street from Pelican Landing, Tokyo Bay Steakhouse and Prudential Florida WCI.

I'm looking forward to my relationship with the proprietors.  My biggest hurdle has been cooking for less people since most of the kids have vacated.  I'm one of those "cook for an army" types.  Talk about discipline.

I think I'm the only person I know that doesn't like seafood (oh boo, hiss!) but this is a cute blog for a cute little seafood store. I love the way they have the store set up (from the picture) and the menu is adorable.
